Singing Classes
Individual and Group Singing
Connecting with music through the human voice is a fascinating form of entertainment that requires certain skills that are easy to learn. CORAL offers singing groups for pre-teens, teens, and adults. These groups are geared toward people who enjoy sharing singing.
For pre-teens and teens, classes begin with brief vocal exercises and then move on to the repertoire previously selected by the students. They also receive recorded tracks so they can continue singing whenever they want.
The Adult Singing Group consists of a weekly meeting lasting an hour and a half. After a few minutes of vocal technique exercises, sharing the week's news, and a cup of coffee, we discuss songs from the popular songbook, others in English, or our favorites arranged for two, three, or four voices.
The program is complemented by music appreciation classes, educational concerts, and choral groups. At least two recitals a year and the recording of a CD are also planned. This year, we will intensify our meetings with other choirs, as they are very enriching and a real challenge.
