Instrument Classes

How do you learn an instrument?

Our teaching method consists of a weekly one-hour class. Our goal is for students to begin playing from the first class. Initially, the lessons will be basic, becoming more complex over time and with additional practice at home. Theoretical elements will be introduced as needed.

We try to strike a balance, on the one hand encouraging musical literacy and on the other, allowing for the development of auditory skills that will allow students to create their own melodies. The repertoire is generally chosen by the students, who bring a wide variety of material to class, ranging from classical to rock, jazz, tango, folklore, and ethnic music. The teachers are responsible for adapting the material to each student's level. In addition to the weekly class, all students meet once a month in group classes called "ENSAMBLES."

There, divided by age and level, each student arrives with his or her instrument and, under the guidance of a teacher, begins to play pieces together. The ensemble provides the opportunity to connect with other students with similar interests and is a fantastic way to learn music.
